Where To Bet NFL Teasers

Graeme

The point spreads in the NFL are notoriously tricky. The games so often finish on the prime numbers of 3, 7 and 10 with lines set at 3.5 and 6.5, these games can become a coinflip and it’d be nice if there was a way to get a couple extra points, especially if you like a couple of games.

Good news, teasers exist. A teaser is when you pick two or more games and combine them into one bet. With these you need both to win, but the points coming your way can be a real game changer.

These are a great bet to have in your NFL tool belt. They can be quite confusing though so we are going to explain what an NFL teaser bet is as well as tell you where to bet them, how to bet them and a good strategy for betting them.

Where To Bet NFL Teasers:

America: You can bet teasers throughout the season at Bovada as they are one of the top sportsbooks for football.

Canada: One of the best places to bet NFL in Canada is Sports Interaction and they offer teasers on the games.

Everywhere Else: Bet365 Sportsbook offer NFL teasers during the season.

What is a NFL Teaser Bet?

Football Deposit Bonuses

A teaser is a bet in which you take two bets and combine them into one bet and the line then shifts in your favor.

For example, you want to be the Seahawks (who are -3) and the Chiefs (who are +2.5). When you put them in the teaser, the new lines would be Seahawks +3 and Chiefs +8.5. Pretty great, right?

The only thing is you need both of these games to cover the spread in order to win your belt. If the Seahawks win outright and the Chiefs lose by nine, you lose the bet.

There are three types of teasers for the most part: 6 points, 6.5 points and 7 points. The odds differ on these as a two-team 6 point teaser would be even money, a 6.5 would be -110 and a 7 point would be -120.

The more games that you add to the teaser, the better odds. So a three team 6 point teaser would be +180 and a four teamer would be +300.

How Do You Make an NFL Teaser Bet?

The exact method in which you place a teaser bet depends on the sportsbook in question.

Up above I recommended Bovada as an online sportsbook where you can place NFL teasers so I will go through the list there of how to make an NFL Teaser Bet.

  1. Log in to the website.
  2. On the left hand side menu there is “Teasers/Progressive”. Click that.
  3. You will get a list of options such as NFL Sides 4.5 points. Click the one you want.
  4. You will then be given a list of the point spreads with the adjustments made. So if the Chiefs were -3, then they will be listed as +1.5. If the Bengals were +3.5 they will be +8 etc etc depending on what you choose. Click the amount of teams or selections you wish to make in this teaser then click “Continue”.
  5. You will then be given the option to choose the amount you bet. Select that and it will tell you how much you will win if the bet is successful.

That’s it – that’s the steps that are required for making an NFL Teaser Bet.

This will be different depending on the sportsbook but the fundamentals are the same. At Bet365 Sportsbook you are able to form teasers on your betting slip.

How To Bet NFL Teasers:

Betting teasers can be a bit tricky so we’re going to take you through it here.

At your sportsbook, select all the games that you are interested in and add them to your betting slip.

On your bet slip you will see an option for parlay and an option for teaser. From there select teaser and then select the number of points you’d like to tease to place your wager.

NFL Teasers Betting Strategy:

The most common margin of victory in the NFL is a three points followed by seven points so you want to look for lines that cross that threshold. A team that is favored by 3.5 points is a great team to tease, as is one that is -2.5 because it gets that number up above seven points.
