What are WNCAAB Game Props?

There are a large variety of game props available, but the most popular for WNCAAB games are:

Alternative Point Spread: This is an adjustment to the main point spread bet where you can get/lay more points at a different price.

So let’s say Duke is favored by -7. With an alternate point spread, you could bet the following with an alternative point spread:

-3 (-260)
-5 (-180)
-9 (+110)
-11 (+155)
-15 (+285)

(This would be what it would be like to bet the favorite. The same is possible for the underdogs.)

A positive number like +155 would pay $155 on a $100 bet. A negative number would pay less so you would need to bet $180 to win $100 on a -180 line.

Alternative Game Total:

The same as above, but for the over/under game total. So, if the line is set at 150.5. You could bet anywhere from 130.5 to 170.5 with adjusted odds.

Winning Margin: This is a tough one as you are betting by how much a team will win by with a very small margin. That said, it pays very well if you are correct.

For example:

Kentucky wins by 1-2 +1000
Kentucky wins by 3-6 +425
Kentucky wins by 7-9 +600

A $100 bet on 3-6 would pay $425. That said, you need the number to land exactly between 3 and 6. Everything else would be a loss.

Winning Margin 3-Way: Same as above, but a bit more kind with less options. It might look like this:

Team A wins by 6 or more (+650)
Team B wins by 6 or more (-160)
Any other result (+190)

Game Total – Odd/Even: Will the final score total to be an even number or an odd number?

Why bet alternates totals/point spreads?

When you bet on a game, you are usually betting to win back your stake or less than your stake with the sportsbook taking the “juice” on the bet.

When you are betting an alternate point spread and adding more points, you are trading points for a bigger payoff.

The opposite is true when you take a lower spread. You are trading money for less risk by taking a smaller payoff on a potential win.
